On a quick walk through Liverpool street’s Broadgate complex last week, I photographed a few views of the new Number five. A complete contrast to what it replaced, with its sharp cutting design lines and 22nd century looks, It most certainly would not appear out of place in science fiction blockbuster!

Last Friday afternoon, walking through a Skatepark in London, I got chatting to a group of guys on BMX bikes. Not content with a gentle ride home from the office, these guys were intent on a more physical workout. Flying fast and high on some very hard and unforgiving concrete. They made it look all too easy……
One of my favourite European city’s has to be beautiful Barcelona!
Having been there many times over the years it alway’s has something
wonderful to see and photograph. From gothic architecture to tree lined avenues
that flow on forever. Always inspirational. Never boring.
(A bit like me then……….)
Lovely day out last week at the very “smart” looking Colchester zoo.
Can you spot the elephant?
One of my recent studio jobs involved shooting the new SONY e-reader for London based agency BD-network. Shot over the course of a couple of days, we photographed the range’s various color ways and provided initial retouching for the selected shots.
By providing well over forty different variations of color, angles and propping we were able to produce a exciting and comprehensive set of images for SONY’s innovative new e-reader.

Blockbuster have been at the forefront of home movie rental for many years.
With their new advertising push, we helped create
this winning ad, highlighting the release of the new Spiderman and Batman movies.
The client wanted to capture a whole range of facial emotions that would instantly convey the main movie
genres while also providing a wide choice of images.
With a light hearted approach the images were great
fun to shoot and really portrayed the excitement of
watching a great movie in your own home!

I have been working with MELBA LONDON since the companies birth back in 2000. Since then I have seen the rise of this small brand specialist and helped to build their reputation in the fiercely competitive maternity ware market with distinctive imagery.
Company owner, Rebecca and I have always worked closely together to pull together the annual shoots. “We initially started shooting the garments in the studio”, says Rebecca, “but quickly realized that creating a story around a location was producing images that brought the whole collection alive”.
The most recent shoot was conducted in a location house in north London, which by careful initial selection proved a fantastic back drop the 2012/13 maternity range.
