FIVE BROADGATE

5_broadgate_2

On a quick walk through Liverpool street’s Broadgate complex last week, I photographed a few views of the new Number five. A complete contrast to what it replaced, with its sharp cutting design lines and 22nd century looks, It most certainly would not appear out of place in science fiction blockbuster!

Last Friday afternoon, walking through a Skatepark in London, I got chatting to a group of guys on BMX bikes. Not content with a gentle ride home from the office, these guys were intent on a more physical workout. Flying fast and high on some very hard and unforgiving concrete. They made it look all too easy……

CGI Render verses straight photography?

In a nut shell, visually, there isn’t an awful lot of difference. Both look fantastic!

CANARY TWEET

I had the opportunity to pop out for a “rare” lunch time treat on Monday to meet up with an old friend.

LEYTON!

One of the many routes home occasionally takes me behind the east London Olympic park. This is the bit that was rarely seen on the telly but is just a stones throw from all the televised glitz and glamour of the 2012 Olympics. With the grim Eurostar depot on the left and residents allotments on the right the Olympic glitz is back again! Its almost Hollywood meets Leyton. On a budget.
